Understanding of product offerings, Merchandise operations at Theme parks and Merchandise systems to develop better understanding of purchase order management (POM) process.
Study carton size/ case packs and commodity codes thoroughly and create/update POs accurately with the vendors/suppliers.
Check Global Spec sheets for the cost differences for APAC before raising POs with vendors.
Maintain data as per range plan decided and shared by management post approval.
Participate in weekly trade meetings with APAC to identify worst/best sellers and help with future buying, planning decisions.
Continuously improve professional skills and technical expertise.
Ensure compliance with respect to WDW policies and guidelines
Ensure routine/timely communication to leaders regarding work status and day to day activities.
Meet clients requirements for service, quality and aptness; and also maintain monthly MIS reports.
With continuous process improvement in mind,
support the development of guides/handbooks or other tools to maintain and facilitate all processes and procedures.
Provide feedback whenever applicable regarding changes to the process and update the procedures accordingly.
Buyers, Trade planners, Category planning and sourcing team/leads.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelors degree or equivalent
2-4 years relevant experience in purchase order management or supply chain operations
Proficiency in data manipulation in MS Access and reporting using MS Excel
Fluency in English Communication (verbal and written) is a must.
Strong attention to detail skills
Strong typing and ten-key skills
Ability to work on a team in a collaborative environment
Ability to adapt to change and learn new technologies quickly
Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
