Were looking for a Solution Architect for our Core Network domain — someone with broad working knowledge of core nodes who can make sound design decisions. Deep expertise in every node isn’t required; what matters is understanding how the core network fits together and being able to architect solutions that work.
Key Responsibilities
•Design and own solution architecture (HLD/LLD) for core network deployments, upgrades, and integrations
•Make informed design decisions across core nodes (e.g., HSS/HLR, MME, SGSN/GGSN, PCRF/PCF, IMS, EPC/5GC elements, etc.)
•Evaluate trade-offs between vendor options, scalability, and interoperability
•Coordinate with engineering teams and vendors on core architecture matters
•Review designs from engineers and provide technical direction
•Document design decisions and architecture standards
Requirements
•Solid working knowledge of core network nodes and how they interact
•Proven ability to independently take design decisions, not just execute them
•Exposure across multiple core nodes preferred over deep expertise in just one
Experience: Years of experience is not a strict requirement. Candidates with 2–3 years in a senior/lead architect role at a major telecom vendor (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, Samsung, etc.) will be preferred.
Nice to Have
•Exposure to NFV/cloud-native core architectures
•Multi-vendor integration experience
