Job Title: Senior Engineer

Department: Engineering / Projects

Reporting To: Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Milestone Management

Consolidate project milestone plans submitted by Junior Engineers.

Review and validate project schedules, procurement timelines, and manpower planning.

Submit milestone plans to the Project Manager for approval and Director sign-off.

Share approved milestone plans with Junior Site Engineers for execution.

2. Material Planning & Procurement Coordination

Review and validate Order of Items (including BOQ) prepared by Junior Engineers.

Submit verified reports to the Project Manager for approval.

Ensure approved material requirements are shared with the Procurement team at least one week in advance.

Follow up with Procurement three days before the required delivery date and escalate any delays to the Project Manager 24 hours in advance.

3. Site Quality Control

Review and approve daily site progress photographs uploaded by Junior Engineers.





Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality complies with approved standards and project specifications.

Upload site visit photographs and provide improvement feedback to Junior Engineers after each inspection.

4. Team Leadership & Development

Train and mentor Junior Engineers on project execution, documentation, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Ensure quality inspections are conducted and documented for every project.

Monitor team performance and provide continuous technical guidance to improve execution efficiency.

5. Project Monitoring & Reporting

Track project progress, procurement status, and site execution against approved milestones.

Report project updates, risks, and quality observations to the Project Manager.

Escalate material, labour, or execution issues proactively to avoid project delays.

Submit regular consolidated progress and quality reports for management review.
