Job Description – General Manager (Civil)

Position: General Manager – Civil
Location: Ludhiana
Department: Civil / Projects
Experience Required: 12–18+ Years

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all civil construction and project execution activities.
- Manage planning, budgeting, execution, and timely completion of projects.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal departments.
- Monitor site progress, quality standards, safety compliance, and manpower productivity.
- Ensure proper resource allocation and cost control across projects.
- Review BOQs, project schedules, material planning, and billing processes.
- Handle vendor and contractor management along with performance monitoring.
- Resolve technical and operational issues arising during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, company standards, and project specifications.
- Prepare periodic project reports and update management on progress and risks.

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of civil construction,



project management, and execution.
- Experience in high-rise, residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Good leadership, coordination, and team management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of quality control and safety practices.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, project planning, and reporting tools.

Qualification:
- B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering
- PMP/Project Management certification will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Solid decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
- Ability to work in fast-paced and deadline-driven environments.
