Role Purpose

The Business Head for Hydro will lead the strategic and operational execution of hydropower projects in Bhutan, ensuring alignment with Adani Group’s mission to drive sustainable energy solutions. This role is pivotal in overseeing large-scale civil execution, construction, and operational management of hydropower projects, while driving efficiency, risk mitigation, and adherence to budgetary constraints. The position will play a critical role in advancing the Hydro business unit’s objectives in Bhutan, leveraging technical expertise and leadership to deliver high-impact outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end execution of hydropower projects in Bhutan, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards.
- Oversee civil construction activities, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications, safety protocols,



and environmental standards.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost optimization and financial discipline.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth operational continuity.
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Drive contract management, including negotiation, execution, and compliance monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project goals with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Foster relationships with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders to ensure project alignment with regional requirements.
- Champion innovation and best practices in hydropower project execution and operations.
