Role Overview

The Senior Health Community Manager will build, lead, and scale Healds diabetes and metabolic health communities with a strong emphasis on habit formation, social accountability, challenges, events, storytelling, and health education.

This is a senior, full time role responsible for:
- Designing community programs that feel like health meets social club
- Increasing retention & activation
- Building a recognizable Heald community voice
- Creating a sense of belonging, identity, and progress

You will work closely with our product, coaching, marketing, and clinical teams and shape how thousands of people experience health improvement socially.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and run high-energy community programs including:
- Fitness & health challenges
- Habit streaks
- AMAs (with coaches, RDs, doctors, patient alumni)
- Trivia & quizzes
- Group check-ins & accountability pods
- Storytelling + testimonials
- Build and maintain a weekly content calendar for community touchpoints
- Create and moderate digital spaces on WhatsApp, Discord, Telegram, in-app groups,



etc.
- Turn passive users into participants, and participants into advocates/ambassadors
- Curate credible content: podcasts, blogs, videos, reviews, health news, tools, recipes, etc.
- Identify & empower super-users and brand evangelists
- Analyze and report engagement & retention signals
- Influence product around community features, nudges, and cohorts
- Ensure safety, inclusion, and accuracy in health discussions

Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years in community management, consumer health, wellness, coaching, or creator ecosystems
- Proven ownership of large or active communities (fitness, wellness, health, education, gaming, travel, etc.)
- Ability to make health feel fun, social, and culturally relevant (not clinical or boring)
- Exceptional written & verbal communication with empathetic tone
- Strong familiarity with metabolic health, nutrition, fitness, sleep, or diabetes (preferred bu
