Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Consultant / Developer
with robust experience in both
functional consulting and technical development
within the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.
This role is ideal for a professional who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical delivery, helping clients transform their finance and accounting operations through
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O;)
. The successful candidate will work closely with Finance Directors, CFOs, Controllers, business users, and technical teams to design, develop, and implement scalable ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Consulting
- Lead Dynamics 365 Finance implementation, optimisation, and transformation projects.
- Conduct discovery workshops, requirements gathering, and business process reviews.
- Analyse and improve:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets
- Cash & Bank Management
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Financial Reporting
- Management Accounting
- Month-End & Year-End Close Processes
- Translate business requirements into scalable Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, change management, and go-live activities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to finance and business stakeholders.
Technical Development
- Design, develop, and customise solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Develop and maintain:
- X++
- Extensions and customisations
- Workflows
- SSRS Reports
- Electronic Reporting (ER)
- Data Entities
- Integrations and APIs
- Support data migration, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting activities.
- Work with Power Platform technologies including:
- Power BI
- Power Automate
- Power Apps
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure successful delivery.
