1) Job Purpose

The Sr. Lead Transmission Switchyard will provide leadership and technical expertise in the design, engineering, and execution of transmission and switchyard systems for largescale electrical projects. This role ensures the integration of highvoltage transmission lines, substations, and associated infrastructure into electrical systems while meeting operational, safety, regulatory, and sustainability standards. The position will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of electrical transmission systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and costefficiency throughout the project lifecycle. This role is crucial for the timely and onbudget delivery of strategic projects.

1. Conceptualization and Basic Engineering Review and Validation
- Validate basic engineering documents, including singleline diagrams (SLD), layouts, and equipment specifications.
- Participate in feasibility studies and load flow analysis to define project scope.




- Collaborate with site teams to establish project specifications, design basis and parameters.
- Ensure adherence to relevant standards (IEC, IS, IEEE) during the conceptualization phase.
- Propose cutting-edge solutions for improving system reliability and operational efficiency.

1. Budget, Tendering Ordering support
- Review detailed Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimates based on engineering designs.
- Review of tender documents, including technical specifications and evaluation criteria.
- Review vendor proposals to ensure alignment with project requirements and budget.
- Participate in vendor negotiations to optimize costs and secure favorable terms.
- Support the preparation and finalization of purchase orders and contracts.
