Review the Divisions financial results in line with month-end close timelines and in compliance with Minimum Control Standards (MCSs).
Understand the relevant financial performance reported to the Country.
Ensure timely close of month-end activities as per the defined SLA.
Produce the monthly reporting packs considering the requirements of the:
- Division s Finance Director and Controllers
- Division s Exco member and site management team
- Monthly cycle count activity for [relevant] Division carried out for each site.
- Investigate differences between PSV Books stock as per report submissions by each site and take necessary adjustment entries to present fair Inventory balances.
- Carry out quarterly Inventory valuations.
- Carry out product costing for [relevant] division and update standard prices.
- Prepare, analyze, and present the Income Statement for the month (EBIT report).
- Ensure all month-end related closing tasks are completed within the SLA between Country and GHBS.
- Ensure postings of accruals, prepayments and reclassification of expenses to present a true and fair view of the Income Statement for the month.
- Prepare and share [relevant] division-specific Draft EBIT report analysis and Final EBIT reports.
- 2. Financial planning and analytics Provide analytical business decision support to improve financial performance.
Support the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and capex processes. Execute key components of the planning process according to defined timelines.
- 3. Governance and controls
Support the delivery of the annual audit program for internal and statutory audit. Specific instructions will be communicated at the commencement of the relevant phase of the audit program considering the scope and instructions of the auditors.
Participate in activities relating to MCS (Minimum Control Standards) sign offs.
