Role Description
The Safety Officer is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai, responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment across Toshiba Water Solutions’ facilities and project sites. Daily activities include conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, monitoring compliance with health, safety, and security regulations, and supporting incident and accident investigations. The role involves delivering safety training to employees and contractors,



updating safety procedures, and coordinating with project and operations teams to implement corrective and preventive measures. The Safety Officer also prepares safety reports and documentation, participates in safety audits, and supports continuous improvement initiatives related to occupational health and safety.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Health & Safety and Occupational Health, with the ability to apply relevant regulations and best practices in office.
- Experience in Accident Investigation, including root cause analysis, documentation, and recommending corrective actions.
- Knowledge of Security practices related to industrial and project environments, ensuring protected access and controlled operations.
- Capability to deliver Safety Training and awareness programs for diverse teams, including staff and contractors.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Safety Management, Environment
