Leading and managing a Hub service team that delivers Financial Reporting services (statutory and external reporting, group consolidation, financial statement preparation, and disclosures) to legal entities in the assigned region.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring high quality, compliance and efficiency of Financial Reporting service delivery in line with SLA, handling of ad-hoc requests and developing/offering (customized) solutions to business partners and assigned legal entities.
- Identifying business partners' requirements and maintaining regular exchange and good cooperation across finance and operations stakeholders.
- Disciplinary leading the service team including resource planning/recruiting, activity allocation, and budget control. Ensuring a positive working environment and employee motivation through recognition, target setting, performance evaluation, development, and feedback.
- Supporting development and optimization of service processes and fostering the use of digital technologies (automation, RPA, analytics) to enhance value creation.
- Participating in global or regional Financial Reporting as well as local Hub projects and initiatives in various roles.
- Proactively contributing to and driving discussions in the Financial Reporting Management team with regards to organizational development.
- Overseeing preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, consolidation packages, and disclosures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
- Acting as the key escalation point for business partners on financial reporting matters, statutory and group audit queries, and internal control topics.
Education and Qualification Requirements
- Education indicates degree type in specialty: Bachelors in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or similar. CPA/CA/ACCA preferred.
