Position Summary: The Intern Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the

accounting operations of the company, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of

financial information, and providing strategic insights to senior management. This

role requires expertise in financial reporting, compliance, budget management, and

operational efficiency within the luggage or consumer goods sector.

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required (Masters preferred)

• 0 to 2 years of experience in general or tax accounting

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, including IFRS standards.

• Proficiency in preparing journal entries, bank reconciliations, general ledger

accounting, accruals,



and RTR.

• Experience with computerized ledger systems

• Advanced knowledge of Excel & TALLY ERP 9.0 MUST

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho) and MS Office (Advanced

Excel).

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax

regulations

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to function well in a team-oriented setting

• Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L;, Balance

Sheet, Cash Flow).

• Analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for cost

optimization.

• Provide detailed variance analysis and explanations to management.

• Ensure all financial statements comply with IFRS, GAAP,
