Role & responsibilities
- Design and develop AutoCAD custom plugins and tools using ObjectARX, C++, and .NET APIs.
- Build automation features to streamline drawing generation, auto dimensioning, 3D generation, 3D data review, and custom workflows. 3D/2D CAD Quality check
- Integrate AutoCAD with external applications or enterprise systems using APIs, web services, and data exchange mechanisms.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues related to AutoCAD extensions, API usage, and CAD data structures.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Document technical designs, coding standards, and best practices.
- Provide support for deployment, testing, and post-release enhancements.
- Required Technical Skills
- 5+ years hands-on experience in AutoCAD plugin development.
- Strong expertise in:
- ObjectARX / ARX SDK
- C++ (advanced)

- .NET Framework / .NET Core, specifically C# for AutoCAD .NET API (Managed .NET API)
- AutoLISP (optional but preferred)
- Experience with:
- AutoCAD runtime extension development
- Event handling, custom entity creation, database manipulation
- Multi-threaded programming (C++ / .NET)
- UI development for CAD tools (WPF/WinForms)
- Strong understanding of CAD data structures, drawings, layers, blocks, and geometry and configuration libraries.-
- Ability to write clean, effective, and well-documented code.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Experience with Revit API, Navisworks API, Inventor API.
- Knowledge of cloud integrations or automation using REST APIs.
