Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end import documentation and logistics for capital goods and CNC machinery.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and CHA.
- Manage customs clearance and ensure timely clearance of imported shipments.
- Coordinate with ports, CFS, and transporters for smooth movement of cargo.
- Prepare and verify import documentation including Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, COO, Insurance, etc.
- Monitor shipment schedules and provide regular updates to internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT, Customs, and other statutory regulations.
- Handle EPCG documentation, license management, and compliance.
- Work on FTWZ-related import procedures and documentation.
- Coordinate with finance for duty payments, GST, and import-related invoices.
- Maintain MIS reports and shipment tracking records.
- Support cost optimization and improve logistics efficiency.

Required Skills
- 37 years of experience in import logistics.




- Experience handling capital goods or industrial machinery imports.
- Solid knowledge of Customs Clearance and CHA coordination.
- Hands-on experience with EPCG Scheme.
- Good understanding of FTWZ operations.
- Knowledge of DGFT regulations and import documentation.
- Familiarity with Incoterms, Letter of Credit (LC), and international shipping.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.

Preferred Candidate
- Experience importing machinery from China, Taiwan, Japan, Europe, or other international markets.
- Engineering or logistics industry background preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification in Export-Import or Logistics will be an added advantage.
