The Site Technical Engineer will be responsible for the complete installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance support of Hybrid Solar Power Projects. The role involves in office execution, team coordination, quality control, and ensuring timely completion of solar installations according to project specifications and safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution
- Execute residential, commercial, and industrial hybrid solar projects at site.
- Supervise installation of solar PV modules, mounting structures, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, and associated electrical equipment.
- Ensure project completion within approved timelines and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers and vendors for smooth project execution.
Site Survey & Planning
- Conduct technical site surveys before installation.
- Assess roof conditions, electrical infrastructure, and load requirements.
- Prepare installation plans and material requirements.
- Identify technical challenges and recommend solutions.
Electrical Installation
- Install AC and DC wiring systems.
- Connect solar panels, hybrid inverters, battery banks, and grid connections.
- Ensure proper earthing, lightning protection, and safety compliance.
- Perform cable routing and termination activities.
Testing & Commissioning
- Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning tests.
- Verify system performance and operational parameters.
- Configure hybrid inverter settings and battery management systems.
- Handover commissioned systems to customers with operational guidance.
Team Management
- Lead installation technicians and electricians at project sites.
- Monitor daily site activities and productivity.
- Ensure proper use of tools, safety equipment, and installation practices.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily site progress reports.
- Maintain project installation records and checklists.
