Your work profile

We are looking for a skilled Yugabyte DB Engineer to design, deploy, and manage distributed SQL database environments. The role involves ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical applications using YugabyteDB.

Key Skills Required
- Deploy, configure, and manage YugabyteDB clusters in cloud/on-prem environments
- Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery




- Work closely with application teams for database design and integration
- Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting/tools
- Handle upgrades, patching, and capacity planning
- Implement security, backup, and data governance practices
- 5–8 years of experience in database engineering/administration
- Hands-on experience with YugabyteDB / distributed SQL databases
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL / Cassandra concepts
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Good understanding of HA/DR, replication, and sharding
- Scripting knowledge (Shell / Python)
- Familiarity with Kubernetes / containerized environments is a plus
Good to Have
- Experience in BFSI or large enterprise environments
- Exposure to DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting
- Good communication with cross-func
