Role Description
This is a full-time Sales Manager role based in Bengaluru with a hybrid work arrangement, combining office presence with some work-from-home flexibility. The Sales Manager will lead and manage the sales team, set sales targets, and develop strategies to achieve revenue and market growth objectives. Daily responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and negotiating commercial agreements. The role involves tracking sales performance, preparing reports and forecasts, and collaborating with marketing and operations teams to support product launches and campaigns. The Sales Manager will also coach and mentor team members, ensure adherence to company policies, and represent the organization at client meetings, industry events, and internal reviews.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales leadership, account management, and business development, preferably within publishing or related industries.




- Robust skills in communication, negotiation, and relationship building, with the ability to present ideas clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze sales data, prepare forecasts, and use CRM or sales management tools to track performance and plan activities.
- Experience in team management, including coaching, performance monitoring, and goal setting for sales professionals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Bengaluru, with the ability to manage priorities independently and collaborate effectively in-person and online.
- Knowledge of the publishing sector, media, or education markets is beneficial, along with an interest in books and content-led products.
