Hiring: Legal & Taxation Officer

Job Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations, refunds, assessments, audits, and departmental notices.
- Manage Income Tax compliance, including advance tax, TDS, return filing, tax assessments, and related proceedings.
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and export documentation.
- Ensure timely statutory filings and maintain compliance with applicable tax and corporate laws.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, legal advisors, and government authorities.
- Track regulatory changes in taxation and corporate law and advise management on compliance risks and business impact.
- Handle tax notices, litigation matters, and coordinate with external legal counsel.




- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain high standards of legal and tax compliance across the organization.

Required Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Taxation and Legal Compliance.
- Solid expertise in GST, Income Tax, TDS, assessments, audits, and litigation.
- Experience in handling statutory compliance and regulatory filings independently.
- Strong knowledge of commercial contracts and legal documentation.
- Experience working with manufacturing or trading organizations is preferred.
- Law degree and/or CA/CS qualification is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage compliance deadlines effectively.
