Role Overview

We are looking for a senior Kafka / Java engineer to join our technology innovation team.

This team is composed of experienced experts in their respective domains and works with a high level of autonomy on technically challenging and high-value initiatives. The teams mission is to explore, design, develop, and industrialize innovative solutions that support our products, platforms, and internal engineering teams.

The successful candidate will firstly focus on designing and developing event-driven solutions using Java, Kafka, and Kafka Streams. The role requires robust backend engineering skills, solid experience with distributed systems, and the ability to build robust, scalable, and maintainable streaming applications.

But other missions around Java technology will also be given.

Key Responsibilities

As a senior Kafka / Java engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing,



and maintaining backend components in Java.
- Designing and implementing event-driven architectures using Kafka and Kafka Streams.
- Building, evolving, and optimizing streaming data processing pipelines.
- Contributing to the architecture and technical design of reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
- Interacting with relational databases and enterprise systems where required.
- Analyzing, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues in distributed environments.
- Improving performance, robustness, maintainability, and code quality.
- Participating in code reviews and promoting engineering best practices.
- Working autonomously within a team of technical experts.
- Turning technical exploration and innovation topics into industrialized, production-ready solutions.
