Data Architect:

Job Summary:

We at VDart Digital are looking for an experienced Data Architect to design and manage robust, scalable, and secure data solutions in the cloud. The ideal candidate will have robust hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog, and a solid understanding of Azure-based data architectures. This role is critical in enabling data governance, analytics, and business intelligence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design and maintain enterprise-scale data architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, and ETL/ELT pipelines

● Develop secure and governed data solutions using Databricks, Unity Catalog, and Delta Lake

● Implement real-time and batch data pipelines using DLT (Delta Live Tables)

● Architect data solutions on Azure leveraging services like Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory (ADF)

● Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance across platforms





● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data solutions

● Optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and cost.

Required Skills:

● Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Delta Lake

● Knowledge of Unity Catalog for data governance and access control

● Experience with DLT (Delta Live Tables) for streaming or batch processing

● Proficiency in Azure cloud services, especially ADLS, ADF, Synapse, etc.

● Expertise in data modeling, data integration, and ETL frameworks

● Proficient in SQL and one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, PySpark)

● Understanding of data security, compliance, and metadata management

Preferred:

● Experience with data cataloging tools like Purview, Collibra, or Alation

● Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau)

● Experience with real-time streaming architectures
