Job Summary:
The Collection Executive is responsible for managing and recovering outstanding debts from clients, customers, or vendors in a timely and professional manner. This role ensures healthy cash flow for the organization by reducing delinquent accounts, maintaining accurate records, and fostering positive customer relationships while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the finance and sales teams to reconcile accounts and verify customer records.
2. Maintain records of all collection activities and update customer payment status regularly.
3. Negotiate repayment plans with customers while ensuring compliance with company policies.
4. Monitor assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts and potential payment risks.
5. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on collections performance.
6.
Escalate accounts requiring legal or further action to the Collections Manager.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (OND/HND may be considered with relevant experience).
2. 1 plus years of experience
3. Proven experience with Quick books
4. Solid negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written).
5. Ability to manage stress and handle difficult conversations professionally.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
7. Knowledge of financial regulations, credit policies, and collection procedures.
8. Strong organizational and time management skills.
9. Proficiency in English Language.
