Lead the end-to-end execution of greenfield chemical plant projects by converting detailed engineering designs into fully installed, commissioned, and operational process facilities. The role is responsible for vendor development, equipment fabrication surveillance, quality inspections, site execution, and commissioning, ensuring every component meets technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience in chemical process equipment, pressure vessels, fabrication, and greenfield project execution, with the ability to independently resolve technical issues during manufacturing and installation.

Role & responsibilities

The Head of Projects is a highly technical execution role responsible for converting detailed engineering designs into fully installed and operational equipment.

The role demands end-to-end ownership from vendor selection to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities




- Own the complete project execution lifecycle: vendor identification, specification issuance, fabrication oversight, delivery, installation, and commissioning
- Conduct shop-floor inspections and ensure fabrication quality before dispatch
- Identify and rectify critical fabrication errors early (material grade, geometry, weld quality, etc.)
- Coordinate multi-vendor integration and site execution
- Support first-time commissioning and operational readiness

Preferred candidate profile
- ~20+ years of experience in heavy engineering / process equipment
- Strong background in:
- Fabrication & inspection
- Pressure vessels / high-alloy systems
- Vendor shop-floor surveillance
- Deep understanding of:
- Material certifications & welding procedures
- Rotating/static equipment integration
