Function EHS

Minimum experience 3-5 years

Qualification: Post/graduate in Science / BE in Chemical with Industrial Safety

Skills required:

1. Monitoring the operation & maintenance of EHS system.

2. Issuing work permits related to Hot work, Height work, confined space, excavation work permits pertaining to companies project site work & operation.

3. Inspection of EHS activity in each shift including both the production plants covering the overall site.

4. Conducting workplace survey study for all the companies plant as per the procedure.

5. Maintain healthy working condition of the Multi gas detector, oxygen meter, lux meter, Noise dosimeter, Ambient air quality monitoring equipment’s

6. Inspection of Fire hydrant system & Fire extinguisher, Fire alarm system as per the companies EHS guidelines.

7. Inspection of PPE's, Safety Shower, and First aid boxes as per the planner

8. Ensuring the safety rules & procedures followed by all the employees.

9. Coordination for conducting mock drill & EHS safety committee meeting.

Follow up and completion of near miss report CAPA's.

11. Coordination safety induction & fire training to current employees.

12. Ensuring the availability of MSDS for all the chemicals.

13. Monitoring operation & maintenance of ETP & STP plant on shift wise basis

14. Maintenance and Calibration of ambient air quality & noise level measuring devices.

15. Upkeep of documents pertaining to EHS and compliance to statutory and statutory norms...

16. Ensuring the hazardous waste disposal procedure followed in the facility

17. Coordination with cross functional team for new process safety analysis.

18. Execution of modification works compliance to safety norms.

19. Conducting monthly safety inspection as per the EHS planner procedure.

20. Inspection of emergency safety cupboard inspection of (SCBA, ELCB, Fire axe, Fire suit,

Aluminum ladder, Water gel blanket) etc.

21. Monitoring of Spill control Kit in all the available areas.
