Role Description
The Indirect Tax Executive is a full-time, on-site role based at the D J A S & Co. office in Kolkata. This role involves managing the end-to-end GST lifecycle for clients,



including registrations, preparation and filing of returns, reconciliations, refund applications, and support for audits and departmental inquiries. The executive will assist in drafting replies to notices, handling GST compliance reviews, and supporting litigation and dispute resolution under indirect tax laws. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting GST and other indirect tax regulations, maintaining accurate documentation and working papers, preparing client-ready reports, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. The role also includes interacting with clients to clarify requirements, gather data, provide status updates, and contribute to process improvements within the indirect tax practice.
