Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Commodity Manager Medium Voltage Transformers Cables to manage and optimize the supply base for critical transformer and cable commodities. In this role, you will develop and execute commodity strategies, drive supplier performance, negotiate commercial agreements, and ensure supply continuity while balancing cost, quality, innovation, and risk. Working closely with Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Project Management teams, you will play a key role in strengthening Siemens' supply chain and supporting sustainable business growth.

1. Strategic Sourcing Commodity Management
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for MV transformers and cables to drive productivity and competitive advantage.
- Lead RFQ processes, supplier evaluations, quote analysis, TCO assessments, and sourcing decisions.
- Leverage spend analysis, market intelligence,
and procurement tools to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supply chain performance.
- Develop and maintain Supply Management Strategies (SMS) aligned with business objectives.
2. Supplier Development Relationship Management
- Identify, qualify, onboard, and develop strategic suppliers.
- Manage supplier performance through regular reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong partnerships with suppliers to improve quality, innovation, delivery performance, and cost competitiveness.
- Support supplier qualification, evaluation, and development programs.
3. Negotiation Contract Management
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, payment conditions, and long-term framework agreements.
- Drive productivity and Contribution to Net Income (CNI) initiatives through effective sourcing and commercial strategies.
- Optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) while ensuring long-term supplier sustainability.
