We're a fast-growing cold-chain logistics operator building internal software to run our own rapidly growing operations. We have a 6-person dev team building internal tools using Claude Code on Next.js. We need someone to lead this team, sit between business and dev, and turn real operational problems into shipped software.
What you'll own:
- Manage and guide a 6-person dev team's day-to-day priorities and output
- Work directly with business teams (ops, finance, HR) to understand their workflows and pain points
- Document workflows as SOPs and translate them into clear business/functional requirements
- Break requirements into dev-ready tasks, define "done" before work starts
- Review work-in-progress to catch drift early; support devs hands-on where needed
- Balance speed with correctness — push back on incomplete or incorrect builds
You should have:
- Experience managing a dev team of 4+ people
- Experience gathering requirements directly from business stakeholders (not just from a PM/spec handed to you)
- Comfort writing SOPs, PRDs, or functional specs from scratch
- Working knowledge of Next.js and modern dev workflows (AI-assisted coding tools a robust plus)
- Willingness to work onsite full-time
