Assess on-prem MS SQL Server environments (schemas, dependencies, workloads)

Design migration approach:

Rehost (lift & shift)

Replatform (RDS PostgreSQL)

Modernize (Aurora PostgreSQL)

Define cutover strategies (online vs offline migration)

Identify risks related to network latency, data volume, and downtimeUse AWS services:

AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) data replication

AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT) – schema + code conversion

Perform:

Schema migration (tables, indexes, constraints)

Data migration (full load + CDC – Change Data Capture)

Handle large datasets (TB-scale migrations) efficiently
