1. Statutory Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with all labour and employment laws applicable to the factory including Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, Trade Union Act, Payment of wages Act, Minimum wages Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Payment of Gratutity Act, Employees Provident Funds Miscellaneous Provisions Act, Employees Insurance Act, Contract Labour Act, Shops establishment act [if applicable], Equal Remuneration Act, POSH Act, Industrial employment act. Maintain and update statutory registers, returns records as per the Acts. Coordinate timely remittance of statutory dues (EPF, ESI, LWF, PT, etc) Ensure compliance by contractors/vendors through monthly verification and audits.
2. Audit Monitory : - Conduct internal compliance audits periodically and close non-conformities, Develop and maintain a compliance calendar and ensure adherence, Monitor statutory updates and communicate changes to relevant departments.

Contract Labour Management: - Adhere to the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act - Ensure registration of principal employer and licensing of contractors - Evaluating statutory records: muster rolls, wage registers, etc. - Define explicit SLAs and KPIs for manpower supply - Conduct periodic audits and review - Implement contract management system tool in GF. - Conducting periodic vendor auditing.
4. Employment Law Advisory - Provide support for drafting, consulting on employment laws and practices - Ensure HR policies and practices are in line with statutory requirements.
5. Documentation Reporting - Prepare monthly and quarterly compliance MIS reports for management. - Maintain digital and physical documentation of all compliance-related records.
