Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the Bangalore branch as an independent Profit Centre with full responsibility for business growth and profitability.
- Achieve branch Revenue, Gross Profit (GP), and Collection targets.
- Drive new customer acquisition, key account development, and overseas partner expansion.
- Promote Air Freight, Sea Freight, DG, Pharma, Project Logistics, and Defence Logistics solutions.
- Lead and manage Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure operational excellence, process compliance, and effective ERP/CRM utilization.
- Monitor branch performance, optimize productivity, and improve profitability.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance retention and business growth.
- Manage branch budgets, collections, DSO, and overall P&L; performance.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and quality standards.




- Represent Gaerish Logistics and Gaerish Defence in the regional market and identify recent business opportunities.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Branch Manager or similar leadership role.
- Proven experience in Air Freight and Sea Freight business development.
- Strong understanding of international logistics, import/export operations, and freight forwarding processes.
- Experience in DG, Pharma, Project Cargo, or Defence Logistics is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage branch P&L;, revenue growth, gross profit, and collections.
- Strong leadership, team management, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
