Qualification:
MSc-Organic Chemistry

Optional Qualification:
Registered Indian Patent Agent

Location:
Mohali

Job Description:
- To prepare API Landscape Report for API
- To prepare Freedom to Operate (FTO) report for Inhouse API
- To prepare Freedom to Operate (FTO) report for outsourced KSM of API’s
- To prepare Patentability Reports for Inhouse API and intermediates
- Positive exposure to make drafting of patent specification and responses to

examination reports.
- Provide relevant inputs to CRD in development of API process/polymorphs etc.
- Monthly monitoring of newly published patents/ literature for selected API’s
- Prepare responses for Customer queries relating to API and its starting materials




- Patent searching in individual patent office sites of different countries.
- Business development project opportunities evaluation.
- Periodic review regarding maintenance of important patents / patent publications
- Effectively utilized a variety of patent and scientific databases and open sources.
- Good exposure in handling different databases like Scifinder and Orbit
- Strong multi-tasking skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Maintain and capable of building sustainable relationships with colleagues and key

individuals.
