Role Description
The Scratch & Web Development Instructor is a full-time remote role responsible for teaching coding concepts to learners ages 5–18 through Scratch and introductory web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript. Day-to-day tasks include delivering live online classes, explaining programming concepts in age-appropriate ways, and guiding learners through hands-on projects. The instructor will design and refine lesson plans, adapt teaching methods to different learning styles,



and provide constructive feedback on assignments. The role also involves tracking learner progress, communicating with caregivers or guardians when needed, and collaborating with the team to improve curricula and learning experiences.

Qualifications
- Training & Development, Training: Ability to plan and deliver effective online lessons and support diverse learner needs.
- Curriculum Development: Experience creating or refining coding and web development curricula for children and teens.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical concepts clearly and engagingly.
- Human Resources (HR): Familiarity with mentoring, performance feedback, and maintaining a professional, safe learning workplace.
- Proficiency in Scratch and foundational web technologies (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript).
