Your work Profile

We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our large-scale database systems (RDBMS or Timeseries Database). The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in database architecture, performance tuning, security, backup strategies, and ensuring high availability and reliability of data systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, and maintain database systems (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Any time series DB).
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies for optimization.




- Experience working in real-time, high-throughput application environments
- Design and implement database solutions for new applications and projects.
- Collaborate with teams for schema design, query optimization, and data migration.
- Maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance, backups, recovery, and troubleshoot issues like crashes or slowdowns.
- Connect databases with multiple applications / systems for ensuring smooth data flow.
- Migrate data between systems
- Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7–8 years of experience as a DBA in a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and Time Series databases (QuestDB, etc.).
- Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
- Hands-on experience with backup/recovery tool
