1. Role Overview
- The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing strategic client relationships and driving headcount growth while ensuring smooth delivery of all staffing operations. This includes handling transfers, new hiring, onboarding, attendance management, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, billing, and collections for employees deployed on the companys rolls. The KAM ensures both business expansion and operational excellence for assigned client accounts.
2. Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship & Business Growth
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all client interactions.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders to understand current and future staffing needs.
- Drive headcount growth through:
- Current hiring,
- Role expansions, and
- Internal transfers based on client demand.
- Identify opportunities to enhance engagement and expand business within the account.
- Conduct regular review meetings to align staffing performance with client expectations.
2. Staffing Delivery & Workforce Operations
- Ensure seamless deployment of employees, from recruitment coordination to onboarding.
- Maintain updated records of deployed headcount, open positions, and transfer movements.
- Coordinate with internal recruitment teams to meet hiring targets within agreed timelines.
- Oversee all aspects of employee lifecycle management for deployed staff.
3. Attendance Management & Payroll Coordination
- Track, validate, and manage monthly attendance and leave records of deployed employees.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll inputs to the payroll team.
- Address payroll-related queries from employees and the client to ensure resolution without delays.
4. Compliance & Statutory Adherence
- Ensure all deployed employees meet compliance requirements (PF, ESIC, labour laws, documentation).
- Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure audit readiness and timely statutory submissions.
