The Senior Executive Accounts will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts handling day-to-day accounting entries and ensuring compliance with all statutory and tax requirements. This is a hands-on role involving meticulous data entry reconciliations and preparation of basic financial reports to support management decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Record all financial transactions accurately in the accounting system (Tally Prime).
- Maintain ledgers vouchers receipts and journal entries.
- Handle daily cash book bank book and general ledger updates.
- Perform bank reconciliations and supplier / customer reconciliations.
- Prepare and process purchase and sales invoices.
- Verify vendor bills with supporting documents before payment.
- Manage petty cash transactions and expense claims.
- Track accounts receivable and payable to ensure timely settlements.
- Prepare data for monthly GST returns TDS deductions and PT, advance tax calculations.
- Coordinate with consultants for statutory filings and submissions.
- Maintain documentation for compliance audits.
- Prepare basic monthly reports such as trial balance ledgers and expense summaries.
- Support preparation of management reports P&L; and balance sheet schedules.
- Maintain organized records of all financial documents and assist in audits.
Financial Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.
