Prama Instrument is a leading company based in Navi Mumbai. We are looking for a energetic and results-driven.We are hiring a detail-oriented Purchase Officer to manage our procurement. You will source quality materials, negotiate vendor pricing, and ensure timely deliveries. Your goal is to keep costs low while maintaining great vendor relationship.
Responsibilities
- Source Vendors: Find new suppliers and evaluate their pricing and quality.
- Process Orders: Create Purchase Orders (POs) and update our database.
- Negotiate: Get the best prices and delivery terms.
- Track Deliveries: Make sure supplies arrive on time to prevent delays.
- Manage Inventory: Keep track of stock levels to ensure we have exactly what we need.
- Report: Prepare cost analysis reports and check vendor invoices
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,
Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in a local manufacturing or construction setting.
- Skills: Strong negotiation skills, good math skills, and high attention to detail.
- Software: Proficiency in MS Excel and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (e.g., SAP, Tally).
- Location: Candidates based in the Navi Mumbai or Mumbai Metropolitan Region are preferred.
