Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in functional and regression testing. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through effective test planning, execution, and collaboration within an Agile environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Perform functional and regression testing to ensure application quality, reliability, and stability.
· Analyze business requirements and user stories to design effective test scenarios and test cases.
· Execute manual test cases and identify, log,
and track defects using tools like Jira.
· Generation of automation tests using one of the standard frameworks is desired
· Analyze automation test reports using Katalon Studio or similar tool.
· Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and resolve defects efficiently.
· Validate API responses using Postman and ensure data accuracy.
· Perform end-to-end testing across multiple modules and systems.
· Verify workflow transitions, role-based access controls, and status updates across different departments.
· Ensure consistency between UI and backend data.
· Track and report defects with transparent reproduction steps, severity, and priority.
· Participate actively in regression cycles before releases to ensure no impact on existing functionality.
· Work closely within an Agile/Scrum team, participating in sprint ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
