Role Summary
The Junior Accountant supports the company's day-to-day accounting and financial record-keeping. The role suits someone early in their accounting career who is looking to build hands-on experience across bookkeeping, reconciliation, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and day-to-day financial entries.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in GST filings, TDS working, and other statutory compliance tasks.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare basic financial reports and summaries as required.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices, receipts, and vouchers.
- Coordinate with the Operations team for transaction-related financial data.
- Assist senior finance staff and auditors during audits and reviews.
Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Accounting/Finance.
- 0–2 years of accounting experience (freshers with strong fundamentals welcome).
- Working knowledge of Tally, Excel, and basic GST/TDS concepts.
- Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibility over time.
Shift Timings
- General shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday–Saturday)
