Role Overview

This role is responsible for end-to-end compliance, audit management, and tax governance across India operations. The position ensures full regulatory compliance (Direct Tax, GST, SEZ, Companies Act, litigations) while driving solid internal controls, audit readiness, and risk mitigation across multiple manufacturing locations.

Key Responsibilities

Direct Tax Compliance
- Ensure timely filing of Corporate Income Tax Returns.
- Coordinate tax audits under the Income Tax Act.
- Manage advance tax calculations and payments.
- Handle TDS compliance, returns, reconciliations, and assessments.




- Coordinate transfer pricing documentation, filing and tax audit requirements.
- Represent the company during Income Tax assessments, notices, appeals and departmental audits.

GST Compliance (All India Units)
- Ensure timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C.
- Monthly reconciliation of GST returns with books of accounts.
- Input Tax Credit (ITC) validation and compliance.
- Management of GST assessments, departmental audits and investigations.
- Handling GST refunds, LUT compliance and export documentation.
- Monitor GST compliance across all India manufacturing plants, warehouses, DTA and SEZ units.
- Liaise with GST consultants and authorities.

Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act requirements applicable to finance and taxation.
- Coordination for Annual Returns and statutory filings.
- Maintain compliance calendar for all India entities.
