The purpose of this role is to provide an effective and efficient service while creating business partnerships with operational teams and provide a value-added support infrastructure. This includes training and coaching segment based operational staff in how to operate and transact more efficiently, as well as driving significant improvements in current operations Role & responsibilities

The shared services centre in which you will evolve will be responsible for managing firm's accounting activities across several geographical areas.
- Maintain master data
- Close sub-ledgers
- Process inventory
- Reconcile intercompany accounting
- Support internal audits
- Manage external audits

Engage in and contribute to R2R projects





Accountabilities will vary by area of responsibility, accountabilities may include:
- Accounts reconciled in a timely manner
- Journal entries processes in error-free manner
- Days to perform periodic close
- Time taken to approve the consolidated financial statements

Year-on-year cost reduction
- Strong command of verbal and written English
- Undergraduate degree would be an advantage as well as a previous R2R experience or working in a finance setting
- Accounting qualification would be a plus
- Proven track record of achieving KPIs
- Deliver to strict guidelines and to tight deadlines
- Must be able to demonstrate a high standard of communications skills, with the ability to identify the
- optimum communication channel as well as excellent customer service skills
- Pro-active, responsive and action orientated
- An individual & team player meeting the demands of both
- Excellent IT skills including Word/Excel
