Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into scalable analytics solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain dimensional data models, semantic layers, and analytical data marts using
Snowflake
,
DBT
, and
Power BI
.
- Build and optimize
Power BI semantic models
, datasets, dashboards, and reports using
DAX
and
Power Query
.
- Develop high-performance SQL queries, views, transformations, and analytical models across
Snowflake
and
SQL Server
.
- Consolidate analytics solutions into modern cloud-based data platforms to improve consistency, scalability, and reduce technical debt.
- Define, document, and maintain business metrics, KPI definitions, data models, and analytical specifications.




- Design and implement automated data quality checks using
dbt tests
, SQL validations, and governance standards.
- Partner with Data Engineering teams through code reviews, sprint planning, Git workflows, and pull request reviews.
- Ensure analytics solutions follow best practices for performance, maintainability, scalability, and governance.
- Support Agile development practices by participating in sprint ceremonies, estimation, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics
, or a related quantitative discipline.
- 6–8 years of professional experience in
Analytics Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering
.
- Robust expertise in
SQL
, including:
- Complex joins
- Window functions
- Common Table Expressions (CTEs)
- Query optimization
- Performance tuning
- Hands-on ex
