- Hands-on experience in developing applications on Linux, with strong programming skills in IPCs, threads and processes, memory management, compilation, etc.
- Hands on experience in building the code/project in YOCTO build environment. [Optional]
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems development.
- Debugging skills using tools like gdb, valgrind, etc.
- Experience in interacting with hardware via protocols such as I2C, SPI, SMBus, and PCIe for hardware-level communication.
- Knowledge of the IPMI protocol for out-of-band (OOB) management, as well as PLDM overview, sensors, event logs, and command handling.
- Familiarity with Redfish, an API used for managing hardware via BMC, particularly in conjunction with PLDM.
- Robust problem-solving and system-level debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with different stakeholders.
- Understanding DMTF Standards: Familiarity with DMTF standards, as PLDM and Redfish are DMTF standards.
- Knowledge of industry standards like IPMI and Redfish for managing hardware remotely.
