StartupNews.fyi is India's fastest-growing startup media and community platform — covering the startup ecosystem across news, social media, WhatsApp communities, and live events. We work with top brand partners and host startup meetups and international delegations across 24+ countries. We're looking for a Social Media Designer to bring our stories and campaigns to life visually.

What you'll do
- Design daily social media creatives (Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp) — carousels, reels covers, quote cards, event posters, and campaign assets
- Translate startup news, data, and brand campaigns into scroll-stopping visual content
- Maintain and evolve StartupNews.fyi's visual identity across platforms
- Collaborate with the content and growth team to turn breaking startup news into fast-turnaround creatives
- Design assets for sponsored campaigns, brand partnerships, and event promotions (e.g., Startup Meetup series)
- Build templates and design systems to speed up content production at scale




- Support event branding — posters, backdrops, delegate kits, social creatives for on-ground meetups

What we're looking for
- 2–3 years of experience in social media/graphic design (agency, media, or startup background preferred)
- Strong portfolio showing Instagram/LinkedIn content — carousels, reels thumbnails, motion basics a plus
- Proficiency in Figma, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator)
- Understanding of what performs on Instagram/LinkedIn — trends, formats, pacing
- Ability to work rapid without compromising quality — startups move quick, so do we
- Bonus: basic video editing/motion graphics skills (CapCut, After Effects, Premiere)
