Role & responsibilities

1.) In depth understanding and reading piping/engineering system schematic drawing, composite drawing, TA, TNC, PO, document/report generation offline and online.

2.) In depth reading and understanding of relevant specifications / normative referred to in the drawing or required for installation of different Engineering Equipment machinery and pipeline systems

3.) General understanding of ISO quality systems for production, quality control and quality assurance, and familiarity, with clearance of inspection records / protocols on computer- based quality assurance data management system.

4.) Undertake dimensional measurements at all stages of fabrication i;e right from cutting of pipes, fit-up for welding of pipes, assembly of pipes,



after welding final dimensional inspection of piping assembly.

5. ) Adherence to approved Quality Assurance / Quality Control plan / Product Quality plan, prepared based on production process, drawing requirements and specification / normative.

6.) Provide feedback, as required, to Naval Overseer / Owners reps and staff, in monitoring progress of work using tools like MS Excel, MS Office, AutoCAD etc. through GSL (QA) Section.

7.) On completion of in-house inspection, undertake joint inspection with the inspection authorities. The rep of the Service Provider shall generate the inspection reports within 72 hours.
