We are looking for an Internal Audit professional with experience in both NBFC and FinTech environments to support the organizations governance, risk management, compliance, and internal control framework. The role requires evaluating financial, operational, regulatory, and technology-driven processes across the lending lifecycle and related support functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Conducting risk-based internal audits across business, operational, financial, compliance and technology processes.
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and identify control gaps and process improvement opportunities.
- Perform Risk-control testing, data analysis and transaction reviews.
- Prepare audit plan, audit reports & MIS.
- Track implementation of audit recommendations and closure of audit observations.
- Monitor and review compliance with RBI regulations, Outsourcing guidelines, SEBI (LODR) guidelines, IRDAI (Corporate agents) guidelines, Companies Act requirements and other applicable laws.
- Support management in strengthening governance,
compliance, and risk management frameworks.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, regulators, consultants and business teams
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Internal Audit, Risk Advisory, Statutory Audit, Concurrent Audit, Compliance or Risk Management.
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
- Experience in auditing Banks, NBFCs, FinTechs, Digital Lending Companies, Housing Finance Companies or Financial Services organizations.
- Candidates with exposure to both traditional lending operations and technology-enabled financial services will be preferred.
- Robust understanding of accounting, finance and financial statement analysis.
- Good knowledge of RBI regulations applicable to NBFCs, outsourcing guidelines, SEBI (LODR) guidelines and digital lending ecosystems.
