Educational Qualifications
- B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Mechanical Engineering(Mech), Industrial Engineering, or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Materials Management, or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Materials Management – Preferred.

Job Summary:

The
Senior Manager – Materials Management
will be responsible for leading the end-to-end materials function, including procurement, strategic sourcing, material planning, inventory management, stores operations, logistics coordination, vendor development, and supply chain management for high-reliability electronic and electromechanical systems used in defence and aerospace applications.

The role requires ensuring uninterrupted availability of critical materials while optimizing cost, quality, inventory levels,



and delivery schedules. The incumbent will work closely with Engineering, Production, Projects, Quality, Finance, and Stores to support manufacturing and project execution through effective material planning and procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Strategic Sourcing
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Source electronic, electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical components from qualified domestic and international suppliers.
- Identify, evaluate, develop, and onboard reliable vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and long-term supply agreements.
- Ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality and delivery commitments.
- Develop alternate sources for critical and long lead-time components.
