Job Summary

The Tele Counselor serves as the first point of contact for prospective students and plays a critical role in the admissions process. The role involves engaging with leads, assessing student interest and eligibility, nurturing prospects through regular follow-ups, and generating quality walk-ins for counseling and admissions. The Tele Counselor is responsible for maintaining accurate CRM records, supporting admission activities, and ensuring a seamless student experience from enquiry to counselling handover.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Management & First-Level Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for all assigned leads through the CRM system.
- Handle leads allocated through the round-robin lead distribution process.
- Contact prospective students and gather relevant academic and personal information.
- Assess and qualify leads based on eligibility, interest level, and admission intent.
- Categorize leads as Positive, Negative, or Follow-up Required based on interactions.
- Capture and update preferred centre/location details accurately in the CRM.

Calling Productivity
- Make 60100 fresh outbound calls daily to newly assigned leads.
- Conduct timely follow-ups on all assigned leads as per the defined calling schedule.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all interactions and call outcomes in the CRM.
- Ensure prompt response to enquiries and lead callbacks.

3. Lead Nurturing & Ownership
- Retain ownership of assigned leads until centre preference and counselling requirements are finalized.
- Continuously engage with prospects who are unreachable, undecided, or require additional information.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective students through effective communication and follow-up.
- Ensure smooth handover of qualified leads to the respective Centre Counselor.

4. Walk-in Generation
