Indus Universal School is seeking a passionate, energetic, and dedicated Physical Education Teacher (PET) to promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles among students. The ideal candidate should be capable of planning and conducting engaging physical education classes, organizing sports events, and encouraging students to participate in various indoor and outdoor sports.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct Physical Education classes for students.
- Teach fundamental skills in various sports and physical activities.
- Promote discipline, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.
- Organize annual sports day, inter-house competitions, and other sporting events.
- Train and prepare students for inter-school and district-level competitions.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all physical activities.
- Maintain sports equipment and ensure proper usage.
- Assess students' physical fitness and maintain performance records.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students' overall development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or Master's Degree (M.P.Ed.).
- Relevant teaching experience in a CBSE school is preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to coach multiple sports and fitness activities.
- First Aid certification is an added advantage.
