Key Responsibilities
Project Execution
- Execute Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for industrial construction projects.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams for smooth MEP integration.
- Ensure MEP installation complies with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Monitor site activities for HVAC, electrical distribution, ELV works, fire protection systems, compressed air systems, and plumbing networks.
Planning & Coordination
- Review MEP drawings and coordinate with consultants and contractors.
- Prepare method statements, work schedules,
and execution plans.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for timely delivery and installation of equipment.
- Participate in project planning meetings and progress reviews.
Quality Control
- Ensure all MEP works meet project quality standards.
- Conduct inspections and testing of installations such as:
- HVAC systems
- Electrical panels and cabling
- ELV system
- Fire fighting systems
- Water supply and drainage systems
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and codes such as IS standards, EnMS standards, EHS & OHSAS standards, NBC guidelines, and safety regulations.
Cost & Material Management
- Verify BOQ quantities and track material consumption.
- Coordinate procurement of MEP materials and equipment.
- Review contractor bills and certify work completion.
Testing & Commissioning
- Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
- Prepare commissioning
