Job Description - Tally Operator (Accounts & GST)

Position: Tally Operator

Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years

Location: Kolkata

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Tally Operator with solid accounting knowledge and hands-on experience in GST compliance and day-to-day financial operations. The candidate should be comfortable coordinating with Chartered Accountants (CAs), maintaining accurate financial records, and handling accounting activities efficiently using Tally ERP/Tally Prime.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries in Tally ERP/Tally Prime
- Maintain purchase, sales, expense, and payment records accurately
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts
- Assist in GST filing, invoicing, and GST reconciliation
- Coordinate with CA for audits, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting
- Maintain proper documentation of invoices, vouchers, and statutory records
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable




- Support payroll-related accounting and vendor payments if required
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Tally Operator or Accounts Executive
- Strong knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime
- Good understanding of Accounts, GST, TDS, and basic taxation
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Chartered Accountants and auditors
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting tools
- Commerce graduate preferred (B.Com/M.Com

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in retail, QSR, hospitality, or FMCG industry is preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Have some level of knowledge in the CA line of work
