Dear Candidate,

We are looking for a Recon Operations Executive (L1) to manage payment reconciliation, settlements, dispute handling, and General Ledger (GL) reconciliation for digital payment channels. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in payment operations, preferably across UPI, IMPS, AEPS, or Digital Banking ecosystems, with a robust understanding of NPCI processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transaction Reconciliation (UPI/IMPS/AEPS)
- Perform daily reconciliation of UPI, IMPS, and AEPS transactions between internal systems, partner banks, payment gateways, and settlement files.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve transaction mismatches and reconciliation breaks.
- Monitor failed, reversed, timed-out, or pending transactions and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
- Verify inward and outward settlement amounts against bank statements and internal records.
- Maintain reconciliation reports with high accuracy and within defined TATs.

Settlement & Exception Handling
- Monitor daily settlement cycles for UPI, IMPS, and AEPS transactions.
- Investigate settlement exceptions and coordinate with NPCI, partner banks, and internal teams for resolution.
- Process chargebacks, refunds, reversals, and disputes in accordance with NPCI guidelines and internal SOPs.
- Ensure timely settlement adjustments and closure of outstanding exceptions.

3. General Ledger (GL) Reconciliation
- Post, verify, and reconcile payment-related entries in the General Ledger.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation between GL accounts, settlement reports, and bank statements.
- Prepare reconciliation reports and recommend accounting adjustments wherever required.
- Ensure balances are accurately reconciled across Bank GL, Cash GL, Receivables, and Payables.

4. Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare daily MIS and reconciliation reports for management.
